How do I get information on the year of manufacture of my sporting rifle or pistol?
We have compiled an overview of the manufacturing periods of our products on our website.
If you require precise information about the year of manufacture of your sporting firearm (e.g. for information to an authority), we can determine this on request. The best way to do this is to use our contact form and let us know the exact model designation and serial number of your sporting firearm.
Due to the large number of inquiries, we ask for your understanding that it may take some time to process inquiries about the date of manufacture of a sporting firearm. Direct inquiries from authorities are given priority.

I have owned a Feinwerkbau sporting rifle for a long time. For which models are spare parts still available?
We still offer the most common spare parts such as seals, springs etc. for many of our older models.
Due to the large number of products that we have manufactured over the course of our company history, it may be that some spare parts can no longer be kept in stock economically. If required, we will be happy to inform you whether a required spare part is still available.

The maximum usage period of my compressed air cylinder of 10 years has expired. Can I have the usage period extended or continue to use the compressed air cylinder?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to extend the usage period of our compressed air cylinders.
Compressed air cylinders whose maximum usage period of 10 years has been exceeded must be emptied completely and safely in compliance with all safety regulations and disposed of professionally. If you would like to send us your expired compressed air cylinder, we will be happy to dispose of it professionally free of charge - except for the shipping costs.

What effect does the absorber have on the air rifle or air pistol?
For general understanding: The air released from the pressure reducer by the firing pin flows into the system via corresponding air ducts. In the absorber, pressure is simultaneously built up behind the diabolo and on the piston plunger. When the pressure reaches a certain value, the diabolo and the piston plunger are set in motion in opposite directions. The diabolo is moved forwards through the barrel and the plunger is moved backwards with the piston. In addition, the movement of the piston is slowed down by the friction of a spring-loaded thrust piece in the piston. This leads to a balancing of the opposing forces and thus to absolutely smooth shooting behavior.

What is the NWR (National Firearms Register) and where can I obtain information about my personal data stored in the NWR?
The National Weapons Register (NWR) is a central register that records all firearms in Germany. It was introduced in 2013 and is used to record and manage information on the possession, transfer and whereabouts of firearms.
To obtain information about the data recorded in the National Weapons Register about you and your firearms, you can contact the relevant weapons authority in your federal state. The following information is required so that weapons can be sold or repaired: Personal ID, permit ID and the IDs of your firearms and firearm parts. You can obtain this information from your responsible weapons authority via so-called "master data sheets".
[This information only applies to gun owners within Germany - other regulations may apply in your country].

What do I do in the event of a warranty or damage claim?
Our products are subjected to strict quality control before they are sold. Appropriate criteria must be met when selecting the materials used. Feinwerkbau provides a full warranty for material and processing defects within the framework of the legal requirements, provided that a defect was demonstrably already present at the time the product was handed over. Excluded from this are stock and spring breakages.
We are not liable for defects that are due to improper handling or repairs that were not carried out by Feinwerkbau.
In accordance with our General Terms and Conditions, the warranty service shall be provided at our discretion by repair or replacement. Claims for damages - on whatever legal grounds - are excluded. In the event of a warranty claim or damage, please first contact the specialist dealer from whom you purchased the product. They will coordinate the further procedure with us.
